Rocko’s Modern Life 

If you’re looking for a sense of nostalgia, watch Rocko’s Modern Life. This animated Nickelodeon classic follows the life of Rocko, a wallaby who left Australia to come to the United States. Life in the U.S. was not as great as he expected, since he constantly encounters annoying neighbors and general life problems. Adapting to modern life was tougher than Rocko expected. Thankfully, he has pals by his side to help. Rocko has his canine Spunky and his best friend Heffer to help him through. Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey

The 2014 series explores several topics, ranging from molecules to exotic life forms, to Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. How It’s Made is an informative show about, well, how things are made. You get a behind-the-scenes look at how ordinary objects are made.
